Senior Software Engineer - Data Search

About the role

Modash is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Data Search team and improve how customers discover creators across 400M+ profiles and billions of media files. You will work across the full retrieval system, from data and indexing pipelines to embeddings, ranking, and low-latency serving. This role involves taking ambiguous product problems from concept to production while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Improve creator search retrieval, filtering, ranking, and relevance.
• Build systems to generate and utilize multimodal embeddings at scale.
• Evaluate and ship new search capabilities into production environments.
• Own the full lifecycle of search systems from architecture design to measurement and iteration.
