Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

You will join a collaborative engineering team to build and operate reliable, scalable cloud platforms. The role involves solving complex technical problems, contributing to architectural decisions, and mentoring team members to raise engineering standards. You will work at the intersection of development, operations, and architecture to deliver value through incremental improvements.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to architectural decisions and address technical debt while balancing reliability, scalability, security, and cost.
• Design, build, and operate secure, scalable, and maintainable cloud platforms and services.
• Improve automation, infrastructure, deployment processes, observability, and operational efficiency.
• Work with distributed software, event-driven architectures, and event streaming.
• Break complex initiatives into smaller workstreams for incremental delivery.
• Investigate recurring issues to implement lasting root-cause solutions.
• Share knowledge and mentor less experienced engineers to promote collaboration and shared responsibility.
