VP, Senior Backend Developer - Blockchain Infrastructure

About the role

This role involves designing and building backend systems that power blockchain infrastructure and staking products, including Ethereum-based systems and data pipelines. You will own systems end-to-end, from architecture through to observability, while contributing to engineering culture and mentoring team members. The position requires a hands-on approach to technical leadership in a spec-first development environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and build APIs, services, Ethereum data pipelines, indexers, and staking infrastructure integrations.
• Own system design end-to-end including architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and observability.
• Work across the Ethereum stack, integrating with execution and consensus layer clients.
• Set and maintain standards for API design, distributed systems testing, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with protocol, product, and infrastructure teams.
• Mentor engineers through code review and design feedback.
