Sr. Software Engineer II / Tech lead, Agentic Platform

About the role

Samsara is building an agentic platform designed to understand operational context and enable autonomous physical operations. This role involves leading technical strategy, collaborating across engineering teams, and delivering full-stack features to enhance the company's Connected Operations Cloud. You will own critical systems, mentor engineers, and leverage AI tools to drive product development and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions to identify gaps in the telematics data platform and influence the roadmap.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to make design decisions and ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Ship features that deliver value to customers while refining them based on feedback.
• Deliver full-stack features across front-end, back-end, and mobile tiers.
• Maintain production systems and provide operational support.
• Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high-performing team.
