Engineering Manager - Platform and IT & Compliance

About the role

The Engineering Manager will lead the Platform and IT & Compliance teams, serving as the foundation for the company's cloud infrastructure, security, and compliance posture. This role involves shaping team culture, driving strategic roadmaps for developer experience, and ensuring the reliability and safety of systems. You will report to the Director of Engineering and manage a group of engineers across two distinct domains.

Responsibilities

• Drive the evolution of scalable, secure infrastructure on AWS to power mission-critical services.
• Improve developer experience through CI/CD pipelines, observability tooling, and internal platforms.
• Own IT operations and security, including tools, processes, and policies to keep systems and data safe.
• Manage end-to-end compliance and audit processes, including frameworks like ISO 27001, GDPR, and NIS 2.
• Define and execute strategic roadmaps for platform development and security posture.
