Automation Engineer

About the role

Schuberg Philis is looking for an Automation Engineer to design, build, run, and improve mission-critical IT platforms. You will work within a self-managing team to automate processes, manage the full Plan-Build-Run lifecycle, and ensure the stability, security, and reliability of complex systems. The role requires a focus on infrastructure-as-code and a proactive approach to solving problems across the entire technology stack.

Responsibilities

• Automate tasks using scripting and configuration management tools.
• Take responsibility for the full Plan-Build-Run lifecycle.
• Solve complex problems across OS, network, databases, security, and applications.
• Design and execute controlled releases using Git and pipelines.
• Improve the security, robustness, and maintainability of platforms.
