About the role

We are looking for a Team Lead for Financial Accounting to join a well-established company in the automotive sector with approximately 70 employees. You will handle hands-on accounting tasks, support financial statements, and take on special projects for management, with the potential to contribute to the development of controlling processes. This role offers a stable, long-term employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Work hands-on in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and asset accounting
• Reconcile accounts and prepare monthly financial statements independently
• Assist with annual financial statements with the goal of preparing them independently in the future
• Prepare VAT returns and EC sales lists
• Manage dunning processes and payment transactions
• Oversee liquidity planning
• Contribute to process optimization in the accounting department
• Supervise a financial accountant
• Perform special tasks for management and contribute to the development of controlling
