About the role
The ideal candidate is early in their automation career with sound software testing fundamentals and a desire to grow in test automation. This individual will work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment, pivoting between manual and automated testing based on team priorities and business needs.
Responsibilities
- Learn, develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts under the guidance of more senior automation team members.
- Participate in the creation and execution of test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on business requirements.
- Demonstrate flexibility in shifting between manual validation and automation work depending on delivery timelines, feature complexity, and team needs.
- Continuously build technical testing knowledge, including exposure to automation frameworks, scripting, CI/CD, and quality engineering best practices.
- Communicate effectively in a remote environment, including maintaining an active on-camera presence during meetings when expected.
