Design Engineer

About the role

Aibidia is seeking a Design Engineer to help shape the next generation of their enterprise SaaS platform. This role sits at the intersection of design and engineering, focusing on using AI-native workflows to prototype, iterate, and deliver intuitive product experiences for complex, data-rich software. You will contribute to an existing AI-first design system while collaborating with product managers and engineers to solve complex tax and compliance challenges.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex business requirements and user needs into intuitive, functional product experiences.
• Rapidly prototype and iterate on new features using AI-powered tools.
• Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers and domain experts to take ideas from concept through to implementation.
• Balance usability, technical feasibility and speed of delivery.
• Design for complex, data-heavy workflows where clarity, efficiency and accuracy are prioritized.
• Build with an AI-first mindset using tools such as Claude, Figma and MCP integrations.
• Contribute to and maintain the existing AI-first design system, ensuring consistency and scalability.
