Senior AI Enablement Specialist

About the role

Kong is seeking a senior practitioner to join a new, specialized IT group focused on integrating AI directly into business functions. You will work hands-on with teams across the organization to build AI-powered workflows, automate processes, and coach employees on developing new AI skills. This role offers the autonomy to identify high-value opportunities and the support to implement solutions at scale.

Responsibilities

• Spend time inside business teams to understand how they actually work and identify bottlenecks.
• Build AI-powered workflows, automations, and custom tools that deliver measurable time savings.
• Help team members develop their own AI skills through one-on-one coaching and working sessions.
• Identify and scale successful solutions across different business units.
• Establish a framework for tracking AI adoption progress and report findings to IT leadership.
• Set documentation standards for tools, workflows, and lessons learned.
• Help develop internal AI governance standards in partnership with IT, Security, and Engineering.
• Mentor junior team members and interns.
