IT Security Engineer

About the role

As an IT Security Engineer, you will be responsible for strengthening and protecting the organization's IT environment against evolving cyber threats. You will work closely with infrastructure, software, and operational teams to design, implement, and maintain security controls that ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events, alerts, and incidents
• Develop and enforce security policies in collaboration with internal stakeholders
• Perform system hardening and security baseline management for servers, endpoints, and critical infrastructure
• Support the deployment and administration of security solutions such as EDR, SIEM, and identity security platforms
• Design, implement, and operate firewall infrastructures using Fortinet and Sophos technologies
• Manage and improve access control concepts, identity management processes, and privileged access security
• Support audits and certifications in accordance with industry-specific security standards
• Investigate emerging threats and contribute to the continuous enhancement of cybersecurity posture
