About the role
The Junior AML Associate will assist in building out and operating the AML framework within T212 UK. Working with the AML team, the role involves designing and developing framework aspects, including reviewing escalated screening alerts, policies, procedures, transaction monitoring, and client onboarding.
Responsibilities
- Review escalated screening alerts from the Onboarding team
- Conduct gap analyses of existing policies and procedures against the JMLSG
- Assist in developing policies, procedures and guidance for the Onboarding team
- Provide advice on financial-crime related queries from within the organisation
- Help to develop and provide face-to-face training on Financial Crime related matters
- Assist in developing, implementing and performing first line of controls
- Assist in developing additional targeted second line monitoring
- Assist in developing and preparing relevant Management Information
- Prepare PEP and High Risk Client Forms for signoff by MLRO/DMLRO
- Investigate SARs submitted to UK compliance and submit to the NCA where required
- Assist in dealing with 3rd party DPA requests
- Assist in handling any civil court claims
- Monitor suspicious transactions
