About the role

The Staff/Senior Staff Engineer will serve as a pivotal technical leader within the Supply domain, shaping strategic direction and driving innovative solutions. This role involves fostering effective communication across the organization, ensuring system scalability, and collaborating with leadership to set software engineering best practices. The successful candidate will lead technical initiatives and contribute to the overall engineering success of the Vinted Marketplace.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with domain leadership to drive the co-creation of the domain's engineering strategy.
• Improve and own the Supply domain part of Vinted Marketplace.
• Collaborate with leadership to set best practices for software engineering.
• Act as a technical leader for projects across the domain and the organization.
• Create and maintain a technical roadmap for the domain.
• Collaborate with other domains on overarching deliverables and shared technical responsibilities.
• Participate in code reviews and GitHub pull requests.
