Field Operations Specialist

About the role

The Field Operations Specialist serves as the operational backbone of the field demonstration team, ensuring that client and partner demonstrations run flawlessly. This role involves managing logistics, equipment preparation, site setup, and on-site support for pilots and engineers during live exercises. The position requires a versatile professional capable of handling both technical hardware tasks and client-facing interactions in international environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify all equipment including drones, ground control stations, and batteries before each mission
• Manage logistics, organize shipments, and prepare transport documentation for sensitive or dual-use equipment
• Execute operational checklists and continuously improve processes based on field feedback
• Install and strike demonstration sites and support pilots during flight operations
• Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for ground teams, host nation staff, and client representatives
• Perform first-level maintenance on the demonstration fleet to ensure hardware remains mission-ready
• Prepare authorization requests, mission reports, and manage travel bookings and expense claims
