AI Operations Lead

About the role

Karbon is seeking an AI Operations Lead to scale its internal AI capabilities, governance, and performance measurement. Reporting to the CEO, you will build and maintain internal automations, manage AI tooling and security, and drive adoption across all departments. This role requires a technical background to build production-grade systems and the cross-functional leadership skills to manage an AI champion program.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain internal automations and agents to remove manual work across Sales, CS, Implementation, Support, and Operations.
• Develop and manage a routing proxy gateway for AI data sources with integrated authentication and audit logging.
• Own the AI spend dashboard and ROI framework to provide visibility into adoption, costs, and project-level impact.
• Manage the AI champions program, including training, documentation, and maintaining a shared library of skills and prompts.
• Define and report on key AI performance metrics to the executive team to drive decision-making.
