About the role
Karbon is seeking an AI Operations Lead to scale its internal AI adoption, governance, and tooling. You will report to the CEO and work across all departments to build automations, manage AI spend, and establish frameworks that ensure AI usage is trustworthy and measurable. This role focuses on creating working systems and data-driven insights rather than strategy alone.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship internal automations and agents to remove manual work across Sales, CS, Implementation, Support, and Operations.
- Develop and maintain a data gateway and routing proxy for internal AI tools with integrated security and RBAC.
- Manage AI access, provisioning workflows, and connector security reviews in partnership with the Security team.
- Own the spend dashboard for all AI tools and partner with Finance on budget accountability and ROI frameworks.
- Run the AI champions program, maintain the AI wiki, and facilitate practical training for teams.
- Define and report on key metrics regarding AI cost, adoption, delivery, and quality to the executive team.
