About the role
The electrical engineer will ensure the reliable operation and technical development of electrical infrastructure for oil transport and storage. Working within a team of electrical and automation specialists, the role focuses on maintaining, servicing, and upgrading electrical systems while acting as a key interface between departments.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate maintenance, servicing, and testing measures for electrical systems ranging from low to high voltage.
- Analyze technical faults, organize repairs, and develop strategies to improve system availability.
- Prepare and oversee projects for the modernization and upgrading of existing facilities.
- Create technical specifications and participate in tender processes while coordinating with procurement and external service providers.
- Coordinate work with internal departments to ensure minimal disruption to ongoing transport operations.
- Oversee recurring inspections and ensure compliance with safety requirements, particularly regarding cathodic corrosion and explosion protection.
