About the role

Decathlon Digital is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to join the People Data team to help scale DaiLY, an internal HR conversational agent. You will be responsible for evolving the system from a simple Q&A model into a transactional agent capable of performing actions within HR infrastructure. This role involves working closely with a Lead AI Engineer and Product Manager to implement robust, scalable, and secure AI solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop agentic capabilities including tool-calling protocols and inter-agent communication.
  • Implement advanced chunking and re-ranking strategies to optimize RAG pipelines.
  • Maintain quality and observability pipelines using tools like OpenTelemetry and MLflow.
  • Implement granular access management and metadata filtering to ensure data security and multi-tenancy.
  • Translate business requirements into technical model behaviors and success metrics.
