Junior Data Engineer

About the role

As a Junior Data Engineer, you will join the data integration team to build scalable data architectures and fast data pipelines for multinational clients. You will work across diverse industries on projects ranging from data warehouse and lakehouse implementations to IoT, streaming, and AI scenarios. This role involves collaborating with senior engineers to ensure data integrity and performance while supporting the end-to-end lifecycle of data artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Support the team in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines according to client business needs and embedding them end-to-end into the given data stack
• Assist in maintaining and optimizing data infrastructure required for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) from a wide variety of data sources
• Build, test, and deploy data artifacts on cloud platforms using modern version control best practices
• Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure data accuracy, integrity, privacy, security, and compliance by applying data quality assurance methods
• Monitor data pipeline performance and assist in identifying opportunities for pipeline optimization
• Work closely together with both reeeliance and client staff as part of an agile project team

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
• Equivalent practical experience
