Senior Software Engineer - REDAPL Graph Engine

About the role

Datadog is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to advance REDAPL, the platform responsible for tracking infrastructure resources and relationships. You will contribute to key technical decisions regarding data ingestion, processing, and query pipelines while collaborating with product teams to support high-scale infrastructure needs. This role involves driving high-visibility projects to enhance platform resilience, scalability, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Build a query engine that supports efficient relationship traversals for demanding workloads.
• Contribute to design and drive high-priority projects to increase platform value, resilience, and scalability.
• Lead and guide other engineers through architectural platform decisions.
• Identify potential system risks and design solutions to address them.
• Provide input on prioritizing engineering-led initiatives in planning and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with internal product teams to understand requirements and support product growth.
