Senior Production Planner

About the role

As a Senior Production & Resource Planner, you will serve as a central interface for the operational planning of our production site. You will translate demand forecasts and business requirements into robust capacity, personnel, and production plans to ensure efficient and reliable operations. You will work with high autonomy to solve complex planning situations and collaborate with various stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Strategically develop long-term personnel and capacity plans to optimize resources, shift models, and production volumes.
• Translate forecasts and production requirements into concrete daily and weekly plans, production orders, and batch schedules.
• Identify potential capacity, personnel, and production bottlenecks early and develop solutions to mitigate impact.
• Adapt plans dynamically in response to changing forecasts, production conditions, or supply requirements.
• Monitor performance by comparing plans against actual results, analyzing deviations, and implementing improvement measures.
• Continuously improve planning processes by identifying structural potential and driving scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Workforce/Staffing, L&D, Tech, Procurement, Demand Steering, and Finance.
• Take ownership of complex planning topics from initial analysis through to implementation.
