Community Manager, French Speaking

About the role

Reddit is seeking a strategic community management and operations expert to join the International Community team and help grow the platform outside of the US. This role focuses on jumpstarting and fostering local communities in the French market by building bridges with volunteer moderators and scaling the international consumer playbook. The successful candidate will leverage data-driven insights to accelerate growth and bring community and belonging to users globally.

Responsibilities

• Gain a deep understanding of the market to identify user and local moderator challenges and market opportunities.
• Iterate, innovate, and scale the consumer growth playbook by suggesting bold ideas and programs.
• Build strategic plans to cultivate, recruit, educate, and grow a local community of moderators.
• Implement a conversion funnel designed to onboard power users and external creators into active moderators.
• Communicate quantitative and qualitative insights to optimize the international consumer growth playbook.
• Analyze data, set KPIs, and execute impactful community initiatives to influence local team direction.
• Work cross-functionally with Product, Community, Engineering, Marketing, Safety, and BD teams.
