Category Manager – Software, AI & Digital Platforms

About the role

As a Strategic Buyer for Software, AI, and Digital Technologies, you will manage strategic partnerships and sourcing strategies for the technology ecosystem behind next-generation autonomous systems. You will collaborate with Engineering, Product, and IT teams to drive make-or-buy decisions and ensure access to scalable, secure, and innovative solutions. This role focuses on the procurement and commercial management of technologies embedded in company products.

Responsibilities

• Own the sourcing strategy for software, AI, and digital technologies across the product lifecycle.
• Develop and execute category strategies aligned with business objectives and technology roadmaps.
• Build and manage a strategic technology partner ecosystem to accelerate innovation and scalability.
• Drive make-or-buy decisions, supplier selection, and contract negotiations.
• Manage supplier performance, commercial escalations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product, IT, Cybersecurity, and Legal.
