About the role
Kijimea is seeking a strategic buyer for new products to manage the end-to-end procurement and development process for innovative healthcare products. You will drive strategic sourcing projects, define supply chains, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring new products to market efficiently. This role is essential for supporting the company's mission to become a leading global DTC probiotic brand by 2028.
Responsibilities
- Manage the procurement and development of innovative supplements, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals from concept to launch.
- Identify and qualify global contract manufacturers and suppliers through market research.
- Negotiate specifications, terms, and framework agreements with suppliers while ensuring GMP compliance.
- Lead cross-functional product projects and coordinate internal stakeholders including Regulatory, R&D, and Quality Management.
- Calculate development costs and initial quantities to ensure project profitability.
- Transition successful product launches to the operational procurement team.
