Senior Programme Manager - EU Projects

About the role

The Senior Programme Manager will oversee a portfolio of complex, multi-stakeholder EU-funded projects and service contracts, ensuring high-quality performance and compliance. This role involves line managing staff, driving strategic development within blue innovation sectors, and leading stakeholder engagement across the Baltic and North Sea regions. The position also requires scouting new project acquisition opportunities and representing the organization at international events.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage a portfolio of complex, multi-stakeholder EU-funded projects and service contracts.
• Line manage, coordinate, and guide staff members, including capacity management and team development.
• Position the organization strategically within fields such as blue innovations, capacity building, and governance.
• Lead strategic stakeholder engagement activities with government agencies, industry partners, and research organizations.
• Author policy briefs, position papers, expert reports, and project deliverables.
• Represent the organization at workshops, conferences, and events, including facilitation and public speaking.
• Scout new project acquisition opportunities, including consortium building and proposal writing.
