Staff Design Engineer

About the role

The Staff Design Engineer will work on challenging design problems, enhance the in-house design system, and consult on bespoke design work for Product Engineers. This role requires a unique blend of design and coding expertise to shape the UI and UX of a complex, high-scale product. You will be responsible for end-to-end implementation, from wireframing to polished UI, while iterating based on direct customer feedback.

Responsibilities

• Redesign mobile web applications by wireframing new flows and implementing polished UIs.
• Build flexible, composable components for the design system to enable consistent product development.
• Improve information hierarchy and scannability of product features.
• Research problems, write product specs, and implement solutions end-to-end.
• Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to drive features from concept to production.
