Engineering Manager, AI CICD

About the role

Chainguard is seeking an engineering manager to lead a team focused on building the next generation of products at the intersection of security and AI. You will own the product lifecycle end-to-end, including hiring, roadmap development, and hands-on technical contributions. This role requires a leader who can navigate ambiguity, ship iteratively, and maintain a strong focus on customer feedback.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of products end-to-end from roadmap through implementation, rollout, and iteration.
• Hire, lead, and grow a small team of strong engineers.
• Remove blockers and create the conditions for the team to do their best work.
• Stay technically hands-on by reviewing designs and PRs and prototyping when necessary.
• Partner with Product to prioritize tradeoffs and ship iteratively.
• Navigate ambiguous problems and take initiative to find clear paths forward.
• Own the quality and reliability of shipped products and engage with customers to incorporate their feedback.
