About the role

As an Engineering Intern, you will support the development of advanced aerospace and defense systems by managing electronic component data. You will work hands-on with Altium Designer to create and maintain high-quality PCB design data, ensuring precision and accuracy in schematics and footprints. This role offers the opportunity to apply academic knowledge to real-world hardware projects within a team revolutionizing unmanned aerial vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Create, review, and maintain electronic components, schematic symbols, footprints, and library data in Altium Designer
  • Read schematics and component datasheets to ensure design data accurately reflects manufacturer specifications
  • Support engineers with PCB design activities and help maintain clean, consistent, and reliable component libraries
  • Check existing components for errors, inconsistencies, and missing information
  • Help improve library management, component validation, and engineering workflows
  • Use scripting and automation to make repetitive checks faster and more reliable
