Senior Software Engineer | Backend

About the role

Apron is building a category-defining fintech platform to simplify cash flow management for small businesses. We are seeking experienced backend engineers to build and scale core product lines and critical business systems. You will work cross-functionally to design secure financial integrations and drive technical innovation within our engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale backend systems powering core product lines like Bill Pay and Apron Card.
• Develop and maintain critical business systems such as fraud detection.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and designers to ship features from discovery to production.
• Design secure and performant financial integrations.
• Drive innovation and mentor team members to raise the bar for engineering quality.

Qualifications
