About the role

The Chief of Staff serves as a trusted advisor to the VP of Data Science & Analytics, ensuring the department operates efficiently and effectively. This role involves managing reporting cycles, coordinating strategic initiatives, and facilitating communication across the leadership team. This is a fixed-term maternity cover position for approximately one year.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to the VP of DSA on operating cadence, planning, and communication.
• Own and run the function’s reporting cycles including QBRs, OKR meetings, and All Hands.
• Coordinate the development and execution of key function strategies and cross-functional initiatives.
• Oversee recurrent operations such as the onboarding and Academy programmes.
• Manage functional events including offsites and function weeks.
• Maintain an efficient operating model by ensuring processes and ceremonies are effective.
• Support the leadership team on the integration of AI into team workflows.
• Manage meetings for the senior leadership team, tracking decisions and ensuring follow-through.
