Hardware Robotics Intern

About the role

Exotec is seeking passionate interns to join the Hardware Robotics team to support the development of new product generations. Interns will contribute to the design, development, testing, and improvement of physical systems that enable robots to operate in demanding environments worldwide. Projects will vary based on specialization and current needs, covering areas such as mechanics, mechatronics, batteries, and vision systems.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of innovative robotic systems from design to performance validation
• Contribute to mechanical design of robotic components or sub-assemblies
• Conduct dimensioning and validation studies
• Develop mechatronic systems and improve robot reliability
• Design and build test benches and conduct performance trials
• Work on energy systems and battery technologies or embedded vision systems
• Collaborate with software, industrialization, and validation teams
