About the role

Mistral AI is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to facilitate the adoption of its products among enterprise customers. This role involves working directly with clients from pre-sales through implementation to deploy cutting-edge AI solutions that deliver measurable business impact. You will bridge the gap between AI research and real-world applications, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Help deploy production use cases with significant business impact across various industries.
• Work on state-of-the-art GenAI applications for consumer and industrial use cases.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers on complex customer projects involving fine-tuning and LLM applications.
• Contribute to open-source codebases for tasks such as inference and fine-tuning.
• Participate in pre-sales calls to understand client needs and provide technical guidance on Mistral technologies.
• Collaborate with product and science teams to improve product and model capabilities based on customer feedback.
