Senior Project Manager

About the role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will join a central team in Reinbek to lead large, complex cross-functional projects and establish project management standards across global locations. You will be responsible for driving project delivery, recovering projects that have drifted off course, and acting as a coach and quality assurance partner for other project managers. This role offers the opportunity to shape project management methodologies within a growing international company.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, cross-functional projects independently from initiation to closure, including planning, governance, steering committees and stakeholder management.
• Facilitate and actively participate in problem-solving sessions to drive project success.
• Take over projects that have drifted off course or lost their lead, diagnose what went wrong and re-establish structure as interim or permanent lead.
• Navigate demanding situations with senior leadership and across departments and prepare well-founded decisions for steering committees.
• Support department-led projects as quality assurance and sparring partner and coach project managers on their deliverables.
• Contribute to our project management standards, templates and training formats, and turn project experience into reusable methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• Several years of experience independently leading complex, cross-functional projects
• Experience working with senior stakeholders
• Experience taking over or stabilising projects already in progress
