Staff / Senior Staff Security Engineer, Vinted Go

About the role

As the first dedicated security engineer for Vinted Go, you will own the security roadmap for a complex logistics network spanning software, physical infrastructure, and external partners. This is a hands-on engineering role where you will close high-impact security gaps, build a security operations capability, and embed secure development practices within the engineering team. You will work directly with engineering leadership to ensure the security posture scales alongside the business's rapid growth.

Responsibilities

• Own the Vinted Go security roadmap end to end by assessing the estate and prioritizing risks based on real attack paths.
• Secure a physical-digital surface including carrier integrations, locker and PUDO hardware, and operational technology in sorting facilities.
• Stand up a Security Ops capability for detection, response, and vulnerability management.
• Embed secure development practices into engineering workflows and external partner integrations.
• Manage third-party security across 40+ carriers and hardware vendors.
• Maintain the risk register and represent Vinted Go in group security governance.
• Raise security fluency among engineers to enable risk-based decision making.
