Head of Finance

About the role

The Head of Finance will oversee financial operations across the Kaiseraugst and Altendorf locations, working closely with local management and the Coesia headquarters. This role involves leading the accounting and controlling departments, ensuring financial transparency, and driving the development of the finance organization. The position requires regular travel between the two sites, with a primary focus on the Kaiseraugst location.

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for the entire financial reporting including actuals, forecasts, and budget planning
• Leadership and development of the accounting and controlling departments
• Harmonization of the two different ERP system landscapes at the locations
• Design, implementation, and continuous optimization of financial processes and internal controls
• Development of transparent reporting structures and relevant KPIs
• Coordination of monthly and annual financial statements
• Responsibility for cash flow reporting, liquidity monitoring, and financial planning
• Close cooperation with local management and the Coesia headquarters on financial and strategic issues

Qualifications

• Professional experience as a Finance Manager, Head of Finance, or in a comparable leadership role
• Professional experience in Switzerland
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, ideally in mechanical engineering or automation
