Field CTO

About the role

The Field CTO serves as the senior-most technical leader in the field organization, acting as a peer to enterprise executives and a force multiplier for the Solution Engineering team. This role involves shaping the technical narrative for strategic accounts, driving AI strategy, and influencing product direction through direct field intelligence. You will partner with sales and technical teams to win complex enterprise opportunities while mentoring staff and building reusable technical assets.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical narrative across the territory's most strategic accounts.
• Lead executive-level architecture and AI strategy conversations with CTOs, CDOs, and CISOs.
• Run deep technical discovery and architecture workshops to unblock complex opportunities.
• Design and build production-grade prototypes and custom apps using HTML, JavaScript, and Python.
• Lead security architecture conversations regarding PrivateLink, OAuth, SAML, and SCIM.
• Present Sigma's architecture and AI runtime story at analyst briefings and executive roundtables.
• Build the SA and SE playbook, including architecture patterns and competitive teardowns.
