About the role
As part of the Core Group within the Platform department, you will help improve and automate operations for a real-time database abstraction layer. You will join a team of engineers to design, build, and optimize this platform, ensuring scalability, resiliency, and smooth developer onboarding. The role involves working on platform features such as storage abstraction, database automation, client SDKs, and data pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Improve and automate operations for the storage access platform
- Design, build, and optimize the database abstraction layer
- Develop platform features including UI for developer teams, client SDKs, and proxies
- Manage Change Data Capture pipelines, caching, and ephemeral storage
- Support Multi-Region architecture through data sharding and replication
