About the role

The Server & Infrastructure Engineer will work within the server engineering team to manage and expand backend systems, infrastructure, and automated CI/CD pipelines. This role involves collaborating with technical leads to build reliable, high-performing server environments for live services and development tools. The engineer will contribute to technical planning and architectural brainstorming while ensuring high standards of code quality and team productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and support scalable server architectures and cloud infrastructure.
  • Build, maintain, and optimise robust CI/CD workflows and automated deployment pipelines.
  • Participate in technical planning, architectural brainstorming, and technical cost/complexity estimation.
  • Identify workflow bottlenecks and drive initiatives to improve engineering team productivity and tooling.
  • Participate in internal tech talks and maintain collaborative peer relationships across engineering squads.
