About the role
Project Eaden is seeking a hands-on mechanical engineer to develop innovative systems for plant-based meat manufacturing. You will take operational responsibility for equipment design, maintenance, and process optimization as the company scales its production operations. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient, reliable, and food-safe manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Support installation, commissioning, and validation of new food processing equipment.
- Analyze existing processes and equipment to design modifications that increase efficiency and safety.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment failures to minimize downtime.
- Build and test mechanical prototypes and iterate designs based on production feedback.
- Collaborate with production, R&D, and quality teams to resolve complex production challenges.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation including S.O.P.s, schematics, and system specifications.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors to ensure project deliverables.
