About the role

Vocca builds AI voice agents that automate patient-provider interactions, including scheduling and record updates. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead the development of a unified booking layer in TypeScript to integrate with various medical software systems. You will be responsible for ensuring high reliability and performance for integrations that serve as the core of the company's business value.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build a unified booking layer in TypeScript to handle diverse medical software integrations.
• Ensure high speed and reliability for integrations handling over 1 million calls per month.
• Define and implement processes for detecting and resolving booking failures within 24 hours.
• Lead technical decisions, code reviews, and documentation for the integrations squad.
• Collaborate with operations and support teams to maintain and improve live integrations.
• Mentor team members and contribute to hiring efforts for the integrations team.
