QA Engineer Intern

About the role

Shift Technology is seeking a QA Engineer Intern to own an end-to-end project focused on replacing manual QA efforts with intelligent tooling. You will work alongside engineering teams and QA leads to build and validate solutions such as AI-driven release validation, test gap analysis, or synthetic test data generation. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in an AI-focused environment while contributing to real-world insurance software releases.

Responsibilities

• Own an end-to-end project to move a manual QA bottleneck to intelligent tooling
• Collaborate with engineering teams and QA leads to define and implement project missions
• Validate developed tools on real software releases
• Create documentation for developed tools and processes
• Present project results to leadership
