Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

The Senior DevOps Engineer will champion the deployment architecture and drive platform maturity within the engineering team. This role involves optimizing delivery across the on-premise estate and acting as the key stakeholder for the rollout of a new Kubernetes platform. You will have autonomy over CI/CD pipelines, automated guardrails, and migration strategies to ensure rapid and safe code delivery.

Responsibilities

• Utilise and contribute to Ansible-based deployment automation to facilitate product feature releases.
• Monitor application-level health and collaborate on incident response and post-mortems.
• Maintain documentation, deployment runbooks, and developer self-service guides.
• Collaborate with TechOps to shape engineering self-service workflows, guardrails, and standards.
• Establish CI/CD workflows for Kubernetes-based deployments with automated guardrails.
• Partner with engineering teams to containerise and migrate existing workloads to Kubernetes.
