Quant Developer in AI

About the role

Encord is seeking a Quant Developer to join the Foundations team and build high-performance data systems for the future of robotics and AI. You will design, deploy, and own distributed systems capable of processing petabytes of data, including 3D scenes, LIDAR point clouds, and ML inference. This role focuses on building robust, scalable infrastructure that remains performant and correct under significant operational pressure.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy and own data systems processing petabytes of data across billions of items.
• Build robust distributed systems and reason carefully about how they fail and how they behave under load.
• Design performant protocols and APIs, and tackle complex domains and immense scale with correct and pragmatic solutions.
• Build as part of a high-performing team, contribute your knowledge and experience to others.
