Software Engineer (TypeScript) - Platform

About the role

Vocca is building AI voice agents to automate patient-provider interactions and streamline medical clinic operations. As a Platform Software Engineer, you will build end-to-end features, including a scenario engine and self-serve onboarding tools, to help the company scale. You will work closely with operations and sales teams to ship high-impact code that directly influences the company's growth.

Responsibilities

• Build features end to end on the platform including backend, dashboard, and internal deployment tooling.
• Own features from initial specification with the operations team through to production.
• Develop and maintain the scenario engine and self-serve onboarding systems.
• Collaborate with the operations and sales teams to ensure product requirements are met.
• Maintain high code quality through rigorous testing and small, incremental changes.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of experience shipping production software
• Strong academic background from an engineering school
• Equivalent practical experience
