Business Development Representative

About the role

Evervault is seeking a Business Development Representative to engage technical leaders at mid-to-large companies through strategic, research-heavy outreach. The role focuses on identifying companies with specific payment infrastructure needs and positioning Evervault's encryption and card payment solutions as the remedy. You will be responsible for generating qualified opportunities by mapping target accounts and building deep domain expertise in the payments industry.

Responsibilities

• Conduct signal-based prospecting to identify companies with immediate card infrastructure needs.
• Map target account payment stacks to pinpoint pain points related to PCI compliance, vendor lock-in, and fraud.
• Execute personalized outreach to CTOs, CPOs, and founders via calls, email, and social channels.
• Perform consistent cold calling to initiate conversations with technical buyers.
• Build and maintain deep knowledge of card payment technologies, including tokenization, 3DS, and PCI DSS v4.0.
• Attend and leverage in-person events and community meetups to build pipeline.
• Collaborate with partners and VCs to source warm introductions into target accounts.
• Qualify opportunities and provide clear context to Account Executives for handoff.
