About the role
The Programme Planning Manager will lead the planning team and set strategic direction for a complex, multi-stakeholder portfolio of sustainability-led infrastructure projects. This role involves developing and maintaining integrated schedules, performing schedule assurance, and coordinating with cost, risk, and change control functions to ensure project alignment. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping programme controls and supporting delivery within a dynamic, award-winning consultancy environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Programme Planning team and set strategic direction for Planning within the programme
- Develop and maintain the integrated P6 schedule for the Sustainability programme
- Perform pre-Governance Schedule Assurance of project schedules
- Conduct NEC contract programme reviews, including Compensation Event assessment and delay analysis
- Produce progress reporting for programme leadership, incorporating EVM and Planned vs Actual analysis
- Coordinate with Cost, Risk and Change Control functions to keep schedule, cost and risk aligned
- Support governance and tollgate submissions for the Sustainability programme board
