Senior/Staff Software Engineer, Insurance Platform

About the role

The Insurance Platform team is responsible for managing the end-to-end policy lifecycle, including adjustments, renewals, and payment flows, as well as supporting backoffice tooling. You will provide technical leadership to design elegant, reusable platform abstractions that allow for seamless expansion into new markets and insurance products. This role involves working on a system that already supports live policies and real customers while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Take technical leadership within the team, owning the end-to-end delivery and operational health of the platform.
• Continuously identify opportunities to transform new product demands into scalable platform capabilities.
• Challenge existing ideas and contribute your own to improve system design and development processes.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to build modular, reusable system components.
