Head of Finance & Controlling

About the role

The Head of Finance & Controlling will manage the financial operations of a production site, acting as a strategic partner to the plant management. This role involves driving performance and efficiency through analytical insights, overseeing budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring high-quality reporting. The position requires a leader who can bridge the gap between operations and finance while maintaining compliance with HGB and IFRS standards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial metrics to drive efficiency and productivity improvements.
• Act as a business partner to plant and senior management for strategic decision-making.
• Manage budget, forecast, and business plan processes while monitoring target achievement.
• Oversee internal and external reporting, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Lead and develop the finance team through professional and disciplinary management.
• Ensure compliance with reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Optimize controlling and reporting processes through analysis and benchmarking.
• Ensure financial statement accuracy according to HGB and IFRS standards.
