Statutory Reporting & Compliance Manager

About the role

The Statutory Reporting & Compliance Manager owns statutory reporting and regulatory compliance for the group's legal entities within the accounting function. This role involves managing the full calendar of statutory and regulatory deliverables, assessing compliance requirements for new market expansions, and serving as the primary contact for local authorities and advisors. The position requires a focus on process, controls, and documentation to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preparation of statutory financial statements for assigned legal entities under local legislation and requirements
• Prepare and file annual reports, supplemental statements, and required exhibits with local authorities
• Own the completeness and accuracy of local books and accounting records, including statutory adjustments
• Own the group compliance calendar for statutory deliverables, statistical reporting, and other government filings
• Monitor legislative and regulatory changes and implement necessary accounting process and control changes
• Assess statutory, registration, and reporting requirements for new markets ahead of expansion
• Act as the primary contact for local authorities on audits, new legislation, and ad-hoc requests
• Develop, implement, and monitor internal control policies and procedures
