About the role
Givebutter is seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead the Treasury pod and deliver world-class financial infrastructure. You will be responsible for maturing engineering practices, growing a team of skilled engineers, and shipping code while making architectural decisions. This role requires a leader who stays close to production and balances people management with technical execution.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the VP of Engineering to develop and execute the Treasury engineering strategy
- Lead, manage, and mentor a talented team of full-stack engineers building Givebutter Wallet features, payment tools, and financial dashboards
- Own the Treasury engineering function, setting technical direction and ensuring alignment with company objectives
- Drive the development of same-day ACH transfer tools, card issuing systems, and QuickBooks integration
- Build and maintain financial infrastructure that enables nonprofits to earn rewards on their funds
- Bring technical expertise to the evolution of financial systems to ensure security, reliability, and growth
- Improve internal engineering workflows and champion code quality across the team
- Evaluate and apply AI and machine learning tools to drive innovation in financial product development
